MS Walk Tee Shirt Stencils
I will be participating in an MS Walk in honor of my mom. The Team Captain (my Aunt) had tee shirts made for the adults, however the store was unable to make onesies for the babies. So, I used my silhouette and made a stencil for them. We will then be using fabric spray on white onsies to match the adult tee – shirts. I have two, one for my son and one for my niece.
Here is the original shirt design (this is a picture of the design part of a shirt) and the stencil I made:
Sweet First Valentine
I got to complete the layout for James’ first Valentine. I used the Little Love Bug paper piercing from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs that I showed in this post. To bring in the lady bug pattern I used red paper with white dots and I mounted my love bug on a blue background so that he stood out. Then I added a scrap corner to add some new texture to the page. The title is written on a blue circle punch with a pink heart border I found on SVG Cuts all of which is mounted on a piece of aluminum foil. I then added three squares for the picture mounts. Now I just need to get those pictures of my little man with his Valentine’s outfit on being held by his grandma, aunts, and myself.

LSHD – Little Love Bug
Just thought I’d share my Little Love Bug I made from the paper piercing at Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. I will use him for Baby James’ first Valentines photos. The heart banner was just enough to fit his whole name and I put the year on his footsie pads. Hope you like it.
Ballerina Birthday Card – Stampin Up All Dressed Up
My baby boy is getting popular. He was already invited to two birthday parties and he’s only three months old (boy time is going fast). The first party he didn’t get to go to, he was only a few days old, but the second one he did. This was for my friend’s three year old daughter this past weekend. She had a birthday party at a dance studio. So I thought, what better way to make use of my new Stampin’ Up framelit, “All Dressed Up.” As you may have noticed by the “Pin It” bar, I am obsessed with this pattern. I couldn’t wait to use mine.
Front of Card:
Since my Cuttlebug “sandwich” pieces are currently MIA, I used the framelit as a stencil. For the ballerina body part I used the Dress Form piece. I ignored the stand portion of the bottom and curved the bottom in. For the top, instead of the neck part I made a sweetheart top. Then I used purple tulle to make the tutu. I folded the tulle into itself to make it look fluffy and pleated. The belt portion is a piece of pink duct tape cut in half and overlapped on itself. Then I just used a marker to make the pattern.
Inside of Card:
For the inside of the card I used the Stampin’ Up “Bear Hugs” ballerina and the Stampin’ Up “Stem Sayings”Happy Birthday stamps ink pads. After inking them, I punched them with a circle punch. I then marked on the dots around the edge to tie the front and inside together.

I will be submitting this for Scrapbook Steals Monday Craft Madness #20
Sorority Birthday Card
Growing up, my mom always had a photo frame with a poem in the bathroom she got from one of her sisters (she was one of eight). I remember, every time I would go in the bathroom I would see that poem and read it, so many times that I committed it to memory. Well, nearly thirty years later, at present day I am not one of eight. But I was in a sorority when I was in college, so I have sisters from there (along with my sister and sister in law), one of whom is having a birthday benefit for autism tomorrow. This is the card I made for her.

Our sorority colors are purple and yellow. I tried to make the squiggles look like confetti without making real confetti. The front has our Greek letters, Lambda Psi Iota. The poem on the inside was adapted to suit our relationship and reads as follows:
Sister,
We shared many secrets,
The letters we had.
We shared many good times,
(Don’t think of the bad).
Our memories we’ll cherish,
With love without end.
I’m glad you’re my sister,
I’m glad you’re my friend.
-Adopted Author Unknown
I tried several sites and could not find the name of the original author. If anyone can find it please feel free to share. The change is in the red. That line says “the same mom and dad” on the original. Since we are sorority sisters, we do not have the same mom and dad but we do have the same letters. The text is purple highlighted in yellow. The whole card was done in Microsoft Word and is not A1 size. It is just an 8.5X11 card stock folded in half. I traced and cut the Greek letters out from a Google image search and the squiggles are from last week’s freebie at Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. It is the decoration from the egg the bunny is holding that I cut on my silhouette. (I made more decorations then I did bunnies and eggs since I ran out of time for the bigger cuts).
Contest Submission:
Little Scraps of Heaven Designs Spring – I submitted this due to the spring color combination the card is using and the non-standard use of the paper piercing.
